Dear Cornerstone Applicant,

We appreciate your interest in Cornerstone Christian School!  It is an exciting time to enroll. We have several enriching programs including chorus, Spanish, art, basketball, volleyball,  and computer training.  Our students consistently do well on national standardized tests averaging in the top 23% of the nation.  Our primary grades typically score in the top 10% of the nation.  Most importantly, we strive for our school to be a place that helps students grow in their faith in Jesus Christ through Bible classes and chapel services.  We would love for your children to be a part of this excellent environment!

In regards to tuition and fees we have added some incentives to help reduce your cost. You will be able to earn up to 10% off of your tuition for referring new families to the school.  You will receive 5% off for referring one family and 10% off for two families. (The new families would have to enroll for at least one full year). You can earn an additional 5% off if you are able to pay the full year’s tuition by July 1.

Volunteer hours are not mandatory; however, you can earn up to $200 (or 6%) off your tuition by putting in volunteer hours.  Tuition reimbursement will be $100 for 25 hours completed and $200 for 50 hours completed. There will be an official log sheet in the office to be filled out and signed by a staff member at the time the hours are completed.  We will also supply a list of volunteer activities.  You can get hours in as early as the summer before school begins.  

With all three of the above incentives combined the total amount of credit each family can earn is 21% off their tuition.  A Scholarship Fund has been established to assist low-income families.  It is our goal to not turn away any student due to financial constraints.  Please come to the office and talk with us if you need assistance.  Enclosed is a letter explaining financial aid.

For those of you who plan to pay tuition monthly, over a 10 month period, we have set up an automatic debit system with Community Trust Bank where tuition is directly deposited each month into the schools account from your savings or checking account.  All families paying monthly are required to use this system.  The CCS Board of Directors may grant exceptions due to unusual circumstances.  Requests must be made to them in writing.
